Dinotastic Celebration with Akron Rubberducks

mascot-photo-rubberducks-game-05312015Akron Fossils & Science Center would like to thank the Akron Rubber Ducks and Akron Children’s Hospital for a fun day at the Dinotastic Celebration at Canal Park in downtown Akron on Sunday, May 31st. Although the game was postponed due to rain, we still had a lot of fun with the families that came out for the event. Our mascot, Levi, posed with Orbit and Webster, the mascots for Akron, for a fun photo op while waiting for the rain to clear. The families stopping by the booth made fossil replicas and fossil rubbings and got to touch and hold real fossil of dinosaurs, fish, clams, and more. Come out to visit Akron Fossils & Science Center this summer and see our fossils and live animals and ride the zip line!
