Al Parker is Here!!!

Al Parker from Canoe Creation is here with his kestrel, which is a bird of prey. He stopped in at the museum this afternoon for the Science Adventure Club class. The kids were really excited to be up close to a live kestrel! Mr. Parker shared with the students about how the birds hunt and some of the behaviors of this particular bird. Mr. Parker will be here at the museum again tomorrow for our special events. An outdoor birding class will be held at 9am at Wolf Creek Environmental Center. A Creature Feature will be held at 2pm with the kestrel here at the museum, as well as an evening lecture at 7pm. Join us tomorrow for these exciting events!!!
